In Istanbul was completed the work of the IXth meeting of the Eurasian islamic council, which took place from 11 to 14 October. In the working sections on the main theme of the congress "Prospects for unity and solidarity of the faithful in the face of religious extremism in the Eurasian region" participated more than 120 religious leaders from 33 countries of the world. During a four-day work of the Eurasian islamic council was held several separate meetings on themes: "The Future of Islam in Eurasia and movements that exploit religion", "Islamic theological schools in the Eurasian space", "Modern Media and religious extremism", "The global threat and movement, which is professing violence - ISIS" and others.
Tatarstan in the international theological event was represented by the Mufti Kamil hazrat Samigullin, who yesterday made a report on threatening humanity neoreligious currents. During his report the Mufti of Tatarstan strongly condemned the activities of pseudo-religious organizations. He offered to deal with the destructive ideology by strengthening the position of Ahlu Sunna Waljama'a and in unity designate reference knowledge in Islam to prevent Islamic rhetoric.
At the end of the IXth Eurasian islamic council was adopted a resolution which, in particular, refers to the condemnation of the activities of organizations HIL and FETO, the use of religion for achieving political purposes. According to the organizers and participants of the meeting, the media should not be allowed to equate Islam with terrorism and violence, to give young people the proper religious knowledge in order to ensure their protection in the Internet space, and to all spiritual institutions and religious leaders to unite and strengthen the cultural, educational platform.
On the results of a four-day work of the council the Mufti of Tatarstan Kamil hazrat Samigullin told in his interview for the television of the Ministry on religious affairs of Turkey. Note that Kamil hazrat Samigullin in a framework of participation in a meeting of the Eurasian islamic council had a series of meetings with religious leaders of Muslim countries, with scientists and students from Tatarstan in Turkey. During the meetings he shared with the result of the work which took year and a half - a new edition of the Noble Quran. Today, the Quran, which was published by MRB RT, were able to personally see and evaluate the Mufti of Kyrgyzstan Maksatbek aji Toktomushev and the Mufti of Kazakhstan Yerzhan Mayamerov. Muftis were amazed by the volume of the work, appreciated the highly professional performance and supported the initiatives of Tatarstan's muftiat for preservation of old traditions of Quran printing.
