Yesterday MRB RT held at the Russian Islamic University a meeting of discussion club on theme: "Migration policies and international relations" in honor of the Day of national unity. The event was held at the Russian Islamic Institute with the participation of Muslims, members of the migration service, House of friendship of people, social activists and many others.
Among the guests invited to the discussion you can select the rector of RII Rafik Mukhametshin, acting head of the Federal Migration Service of Tatarstan - Rustem Valiullov, head of the migration service - Alexander Markov, chief of analytical department of "Tatmedia" - Diana Nasibullina, the head of the youth department of the Assembly of people of Tatarstan - Timur Kadyrov, as well as representatives of various diasporas of RT.
By the words of deputy mufti, the head of social projects of MRB RT Ildar hazrat Bayazitov, the problem of migration is not bypassed by the clergy, as newcomers, mostly from Muslim countries. And sometimes they come to us with their traditions and religious beliefs and many of them are young people.
In an interview with reporters, the head of the youth department of MRB RT Aynur Akhmetshin reported that the meeting organized to discuss topical social issues, especially in light of recent events in Biryulyovo. The Muslim youth should contribute to solving the problems of migration and ethnic relations, he said. "In our Ummah should not be confusion, provocation, we must confront sectarian radical movements, Wahhabism, which creates confusion in the ummah and the country", - he said.
According to Ahmetshin's opinion, it's important to help young people to adapt. To do this, the youth wing of the MRB RT hosts a variety of lectures, discussion platforms.
Rector of the RII Mukhametshin stressed that Russia is confessional society and migrants must remember this. Mukhametshin offered to do RII a platform to discuss issues related to migration: the walls of the university to conduct a class, explain the laws of the Russian Federation. All activities must be conducted in conjunction with the heads of diasporas, migration and religious figures.
Acting deputy head of the Federal Migration Service of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Valiullov agreed with a proposal of Rafik Mukhametshin, mentioned that difficulties mostly arise because of ignorance of the laws of the Russian workers and traditions.
